We have a depth of experience in performing a variety of educational presentations depending on the age-group of the audience.  Most presentations include music, quick introductions to Nahuatl (indigenous language), dancing, and interactive teaching with the audience. Tax-deductable Presentations


One of our ways to fundraise as a public charity non-profit, is to present our dances and traditions throughout the Northwest.  These donations help us to cover the costs of gas, regalia (native wear), instruments, and community celebrations.  
For a 1-hour interactive presentation, we ask for the following donations:
$475  Woodburn 
$675  Salem or Portland area
$775+  Beyond 45 miles of Woodburn
For school performances we ask:
$1,000 for all-school assembly
$1,200 for all-school assembly + workshops
*some discounts are given to libraries that book 2+ performances in a day
**presentations are a minimum of 1-hour.  Discounts are not given for 1/2 hour presentations.
*** we may ask for an additional gas stipend if the presentation is beyond 60 miles from Woodburn

What to expect from a Danza Azteca performance:
Most presentations last one hour and include:
  • live pre-hispanic music (standing drums, lying drum, rattles, flutes)
  • dance stories symbolic of something in nature
  • explanations of the dance stories
  • viewing of traditional regalia (native dress)
  • elaborate headdresses
  • *audience participation (instruments provided for audience to participate)
